I am a British National now settled in USA on an H4. I understand that I cannot take up an employment on my visa status. However is it possible for me to do an online business(viral marketing , adsense, affiliate programming, ebay) and get paid through paypal/direct deposit into my British Bank account . Would this mean that I am then earning in UK and not USA, as the internet could be considered a global market.

Which affiliate marketing networks can I make the most money from?

I have been using Clickbank for affiliate marketing products for the past 4 months and I just made the payout last week since you have to have 5 different transactions to get your first payout. What’s the step-by-step process for making money online with Affiliate Marketing like ClickBank?

Having been exploring the internet marketing field for the last 10 years, I am still very frustrated not knowing how exactly to make money online with Affiliate Programs like ClickBank or Commission Junction that’s Affiliate Marketing.
Please, reply to me only in case you are already making tons of money as a Super Affiliate.
In addition, please do regard me as an absolute beginner to Affiliate Marketing as I have never ever made any money with Affiliate Marketing at all.
Obviously, the main reason I am interested in the Affiliate Marketing field is the fact that I still do not have my own products or services to sell.
What I have realized is that there is a huge amount of scepticism among many potential Affiliates (including myself) when it comes to the important question whether or how I as an ambitious Affiliate can trust the Merchant or how I can be assured that the Merchant will morally and honestly be paying to me (or into my PayPal account) every time I refer them to a customer who then buys the Merchant’s product from my Affiliate link.
Subsequently, my main questions are:

How to make sure that the Mechant will really link my PayPal account correctly and properly, so that I know he or she is a genuine and professional person who won’t be cheating or stealing away my hardly earned commissions?

How and where can I create a simple web page (landing page or squueze page) with my affiliate link? Please, once again regard me as an absolute beginner and tell me the step by step process of how to set up or create my Affiliate web page as I really do not know how to.

How to ensure the necessary traffic of potential buyers to my Affiliate web site so that I really start seeing some concrete results that’s making money online? Any reputable work from home jobs in Australia?

Does anybody know how to make money from home, in Australia, NO SCAMS PLEASE, have had enough of those. I’m also not interested in being given a link to a website which takes you in and then you have to scour through another million sites to try and find something (+ they cost to join). I’m also not interested in Survey sites as I have tried them and most only pay you 2cents for 20 minutes work! (No thanks!). I want something that’s either free to start or will only cost say up to $100 as I don’t have a lot to start with. (Oh and no Ebay either thanks). I just checked out money making sites hosted on facebook and twitter. Now those money making sites that are sponsored on social networking sites, are they usually (100%) LEGIT? I don’t work with scams neither do I want to waste my time finding ways to make money. Though the legit ones will strongly be selling, affiliate marketing, listing items, and referrals (which I strongly dislike the ones I mentioned on most the money making sites). Alright, so recently ive been involved with affiliate marketing, and it is SO much harder than I thought, so I need to know (assuming my demographic is teenagers) if there is something you guys might actually considering buying is you saw an ad or recomendation for it online. FullCircle (based out of Atlanta) Scam? Help avoiding job scams..!?

This is basically regarding a job offer I received from Full Circle http://www.fciweb.net/ sounds like a scam to me, and I believe they are somehow affiliated with Smart Circle. I went to the first interview, no longer than 5 minutes, was called back for a second one, went out into “the field” and saw what I would be doing. I would be selling DirectTV for 100% commission for a good 10-12 hour day. It was somewhat enjoyable considering my interview only lasted an hour and a half, but since I’ve never done sales and I’m right out of college I was skeptical that they would hire me. I was taken back to the office after being told the entire day that they were only looking to fill 3 or 4 spots out of 200 or more applicants and that I should show a lot of enthusiasm towards the position because there were so many applicants and all that jazz. They made it sound like being selected for a second interview was a rather huge deal. I walked into the office, immediately the “manager” shook my hand and said welcome aboard. Sounds like shit to me. I “start” tomorrow, I begin a 10 hour day of walking around Best Buy and trying to get people to sign up for DirectTV, I’ll probably talk to 300 or more people and get less than 4 to actually sign, according to my “trainer”. I was told it was a 4 to 6 month process into management, however with only some college and a degree goal that’s completely irrelevant to Marketing and no experience in sales and they still hired me on the spot practically, I was clearly lied to at some point. Do you know anything about these companies, If this job is bull please share your opinions so I don’t waste my time.

I know that affiliate marketing is out there. And paid surveys. However with affiliate marketing one has to be a computer geek. And with paid surveys most are scams. Do you have a hobby that makes money for you.
Angry Bird: You sure are right about one thing. Most internet making money programs are scams. The person that makes the money is the one that makes the program. The person that pays to join the program is throwing money in the wind.

Some people do make money advertising for other companies. Even Walmart. This is called affiliate marketing. But you have to have approval after sign up, and be a computer geek to know how to do the links on your web site. If some one orders from Walmart on your web site. You get a percentage of the sale.

I have done surveys, my son has done phone surveys, and my daughter in law has done mail surveys. However these are companies that go through the phone book by computer and call people at random. So sign up is not a real option for most surveys.

For example. One was done for local radio stations to see what station is most listened to locally. The payment was $3.00 for each survey. Each person in the house hold did the survey and each person got $3.

Hello friends,

I’ve been thinking on starting working from home online. I know that there are a lot of scams out there, that’s why I came here to ask you guys where should I go to learn how to make money online.

I’m looking for some sort of a mentor that could teach me how to start making money online. After doing some research of my own, I found out that one of the best ways to make money online is with affiliate marketing.

Free tutorials would be great but I know that the best tutorials will not be for free, so I’m not really expecting to learn everything for free either.

Anyway, basically my question is:

Starting an Online Business: Questions?

I am job hunting like a maniac and having no luck (like so many others right now). I just graduated with my master’s degree (criminal justice) and have been doing freelance work (mostly writing) while in school. However, now that school is finished, I’m interested in finding more substantial work. I have been researching the concept of opening an online store and have come to several conclusions: there are a lot of scams out there; there are many different products/services that can be offered via an internet store; and I have no clue where to begin.

I would honestly prefer to go with a turnkey site, which would save me from having to build the site, add check-out software, set up Adsense, and many turnkeys I’ve looked at include purchase of the domain name with the package. But I’m not sure how to tell the scams from the legit sites.

One thing I do NOT want to get involved with is MLM, high-pressure sales, or affiliate marketing–I simply know my limits and I don’t have the personality for that kind of work. I would prefer a simple business based upon the exchange of a product for cash–I am not interested in scamming people for profit. I am the kind of person who is not happy unless she is actively doing or working on something, so the idea of having a tangible biz appeals to me.

I am also looking into drop-shipping, because there is no way I can afford to purchase inventory right now. My most recent freelance gig ended at the end of June, so I am bringing NO money in right now. Therefore, drop-shipping makes the most sense at this point.

What I am looking for is input on turnkey shops (do you hate them, know if any are legit, has anyone had personal experience with one, etc.) and any general thoughts/ideas/suggestions for someone in my position. I know very basic HTML, but there is no way I could build a storefront site on my own—so keep in mind that I’m not much use on the technical front.

I should also mention that I am NOT looking to get rich. If I could make $1,000 per month, it would take a lot of pressure off the family budget. More than that would be great (especially because my student loan payments will be kicking in soon), but I wanted to clarify that I’m looking for a legit online biz and am not hoping to become a millionaire without doing any work. So please, no “get rich quick” schemes for me.

Is it safe to give an online company, Blam Ads, my SSN?

I want to work from home with CPA (Cost Per Action) marketing. Generally CPA companies aren’t “get rich quick” scams, but rather advertising networks which allow a website owner to put ads on their website and make money.

They pay every time your website’s visitor clicks on their offers and either enters an e-mail or fills out a survey.

They do require SSN, as do most other affiliate networks.

Suppose that I know what I am doing and I want to put certain ads on my blog to earn money.

Would it be safe to provide my SSN to a company like Blam Ads? How about some other affiliate marketing company?

If it is not safe, then what is the alternative? Many people work for these companies, earning thousands. However, most require SSN in the application. So how do I get hired by one of these businesses without putting myself at risk?
