Getting into affiliate marketing is pretty easy. You choose a niche, choose a product to sell from a site such as click bank. Then you make a website/blog dedicated to that niche. And finally you have to get visitors to your site/blog who are going to buy the product you are selling.

The main goal of a site design is to attract free traffic primarily from search engines, the actual placement of affiliate text links and banners is secondary, there are pros and cons on masking the affiliate link from visitors and search engines.

There are some specific guidelines for laying out an adsense site, though it seems to be for pocket change these days.

If you are paying for traffic, a landing page optimized for the specific ad. May be created, though the new quality standards are satisfied best by a normal looking page.

Again one usually will be focused on SEO, with perhaps 2/3 of the time doing off site optimization.

If you are trying to sell your product using other affiliates then you should use an affiliate network such as Google Affiliate Network for physical products of ClickBank for digital products.
If you are trying to be an affiliate marketer yourself let me give you an advice:
Forget about software at this stage, start from the basics and learn the business.
Don’t fall for Guru’s and Super Affiliates products, they suck, because they are not teaching you the business only their experience which won’t help you much.

I am not sure what is suppression file. Very little info on that. Anyway, if you are using email marketing, be careful not to spam. Some affiliate site will ban you.

You’re doing it backwards. You’re asking if doing affiliated marketing will help with SEO, but in actually you should be doing SEO to help you make money with Affiliated marketing. You can get SEO with meta tags and back links (not link shares) and good website content. It is then with that SEO that you get ranked higher in the search engines, which leads to more targeted traffic to your website. Then those extra visitors mean more success with your affiliated marketing programs, because there are more people coming to your site, clicking your links and hopefully buying something so you get your commission.

SEO = Affiliated Marketing Success, not the other way around.

It is not easy to make money with affiliate marketing and that’s not a problem if you do things which work consistently. Provide good value to the buyers and then recommend them your affiliate products and you make commission its that easy. But first you need to build some trust with your blog readers only then they will consider your recommendations seriously.

You need to read the terms and conditions of each free host to learn their advertising restrictions.

One interesting one Hubpages is very easy to use and provides Amazon, eBay ad units you can insert they also add adsenes ads, they split revenues 60/40 you/them for these ads, actually splitting clicks, you must sign up to these affiliate programs yourself (ebay is tough to get into) you can also add a couple of other links of your choice.

Googles Blogger seems fairly tolerant, because it’s Google they allow you to keep any adsense earnings.

I’m sure there are tons other I’m not familiar, many affiliates use wordpress blogs, you might consider that for starters.

Is Mobile Affiliate Marketing still a viable option?

Hi there all Affiliate Marketers.

Hopefully this has got your attention, I have been an affiliate marketer for a few months and I do know some of the basics. I have recently come across Admob and was wondering what are the best programs to use? I have signed up to a few and started to run a campaign on Admob but cause it takes them 24 hours for them to approve a campaign I don’t know my results yet? (btw I started this campaign yesterday just as a test) So far I have signed up to a program called Offermobi, also Commission Junction which I have used in the passed with great success, but can’t seem to find any offers on Commission Junction for Mobile advertising, where do you find these?

I understand that affiliate market is all about trying to sell people products, so please don’t recommend any products just so you can make a quick buck. I am really looking for a bit of advise so I asking you to help a fellow affiliate marketer in kind. Maybe one day I can return the favour.

Bad Vibes on Vortex Marketing Group, does anyone know of negative comments or legitimate complaint about them?

I am interested if any negative information or links exist that may indicate Vortex Marketing Group, Joel Sauceda and his other companies and affiliates, including the somewhat less than glamorous products offered. Odd informational responses from all the standard search engines seems to defy what the mathematical statistiscs should dictate. In all my internet searches, everyone seems to be showing only good responses front loaded and supported internally by other members and their links driving the most popular to appear relevent. It seems to be a very suspicious pyamidal scam. The self sustaining free peer support system determined to gain entry into respectable ecommerce. Like an Amway or other such systems, using devices to slowly bait the interest and slowly feed the info. I am very concern because a relative called to help introduce me to this with, you know, a free benefactor code. I’m looking for objectivity, and yes, I have a background in general advertising and direct mail.

Just when you start to get frustrated, your inbox will be jammed with spam. They have sold your personal information. And they did not share any of that money with you.
It is a scam.

I use google adsense on my site and yes its simple smart and easy but most importantly legit!! I have made about 32 dollars so far lol u dont make that much unless your getting serious hits but hey its still free money who can argue. There are many more to add to that list and you have missed some of the biggest ad sites going and you may benifit from researching deeper as i am sure they will make you more money than google but personally i cannot be bothered hehe hope that helps

I know you’re asking an honest question, and feel like you are struggling, and failing at something you really wanted to do and succeed in. I’m sorry that the last poster laughed and said you were “sucked in”.

I also am an affiliate marketer, and it is something that I love to do! I have been doing it since November, and no I am not making thousands a week, or a month, but it is getting to a point where I am seeing a profit. But, I do mostly PPC advertising, so I am just trying to stay even for now until I figure out the right products and the right keywords to make it work.

That is what the “super affiliates” do. Some may be very lucky to be able to make big money right away, but I am sure that most of the “gurus” have been at this for years before something clicked for them and they made a fortune.

What can you try? I would say if you really like affiliate marketing, like I do, learn all you can about Internet marketing–read everything you can. Do you have any keyword tools? Those help me a lot, since you need to find keywords which have less competition. I have 2 different ones, plus I use Google’s keyword tool.

Do you have a website? Or do you just advertise your affiliate links?
If you find the right niche, and make a website about that niche, and include advertising for the affiliate products on the website, choose the right keywords, and get your website included in the search engines and get traffic to your site, then that will begin to just run on autopilot.
That takes several weeks to get a site listed in the search engines, so continue advertising your affiliate links through other ways. PPC if you have some advertising money available, or through traffic exchanges, email campaigns, etc.

If you continue to learn and apply all you can (not just what the affiliate programs tell you to do), invest some money into helpful software (like keyword tools), make your own websites with your own domain (so you don’t have to compete with others of the same affiliate programs), and just continue plugging away at advertising in different ways (articles, blogs, social networking, etc), you WILL start seeing a profit!!

BELIEVE you can succeed, and don’t focus on the sales (or lack thereof). All it will take is finding the right combination, and you will be successful! Affiliate marketing is a legitimate way to make money (too bad other people don’t understand that, and judge it wrongly…).

Just like you I only started doing affiliate marketing about 3 months ago, but before that I had researched it for about 3 months. I came across a website for Matt Bacak, www.mattbacak.com, who is already a millionaire and I think he is only like 30 years old. He has several products that you can buy and also a newsletter that you can subscribe to you called Internet Marketing Dirt. I have found his products and even his free information on affiliate marketing strategy a ton better and more informative than anybody else’s that I have come across in the 3 months that I did research on affiliate marketing.

I have only been doing actual affiliate marketing part-time at nights and on weekends for 3 months, but I am seeing some pretty good income right now. It’s enough to pay my car payment as well as groceries for the month for our family of 3 so I can’t complain. And I know that it will only increase the more I work at it because I am learning how to be more efficient every day. Although I may never be able to quit my full-time job, I will continue to have this extra money for quite awhile, which means that my wife can stop working.

Anyways, check out Matt’s website and check out the different products as well as his newsletters as he has a great affiliate marketing strategy and is very willing to share it with anyone who will listen.

There are a number of ways you can get involved in a affiliate marketing… And you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get started. The one thing you do need to invest is time… Time to learn the skills you need, and time maintaining your affiliate program. You also don’t have to be able to build a website, as there are a lot of different options and methods of getting involved in affiliate marketing

It all depends on what your end goal is in terms of your marketing efforts.

A landing page is that extra piece of real estate that you could use to help you get the sale.
If you need more space to persuade a potential customer to make a sale, use landing pages.

I?ve made sales doing straight links & landing pages.

When you are ready to collect names and addresses for a list, a landing page is a great place to put up a subscription form.

An affiliate marketing website nowadays are all built on wordpress platform which are easy to maintain and update. Search engines just love these type of websites.

The affiliate website should give the people information what they are searching for and it should not be filled with graphics which might divert their attention. So keep the designs simple as much as possible and go only for 2 column wordpress themes which converts really well for affiliates and they just love the conversion rate.

One such simple affiliate website i found recently was http://iaffiliatemarketingtips.com and you can have a look at the design – it mainly concentrates on good content and then gives the visitors a call to action at the end of the post which converts really well.

2 things are needed google adwords account and http://www.clickbank.com account

sign up for both and pick something to advertise on clickbank, they will give u a refferal link to advertise and for everyone u get to join, part of the commission such as 66% of the money that is spent on the website go’s to you

advertise that link on google adwords

to advertise correctly you need to target websites like if its a mp3 your advertising you need to target lyrics websites.

Affiliate marketing is a marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate’s own marketing efforts.
The industry has four core players: the merchant (also known as ‘retailer’ or ‘brand’), the network (that contains offers for the affiliate to choose from and also takes care of the payments), the publisher (also known as ‘the affiliate’), and the customer.
The market has grown in complexity to warrant a secondary tier of players, including affiliate management agencies, super-affiliates and specialized third party vendors.

The affiliate marketing process begins when you start looking for an affiliate programs to join. The affiliate programs could be from an affiliate networks or from the merchants directly.
The advantage of joining the affiliate networks versus joining the merchants directly is you can have more options on the type of affiliate programs that you are interested.
Furthermore, it can help to minimize the risk if one merchant closed down; there are still other merchants to rely on.

Ok, let me make sure I understand the question.

You have an affiliate link that you want to promote on search engines and you don’t want to use your own website.

If that is the case, then why not create some articles related to your affiliate programs and insert your link so the search engines can pick up the article for content.

You need to do a lot of “homework” and research before spending money on PPC to drive traffic to affiliate merchants.

If you’re thinking about buying a “program” that some promoter is selling, think twice.

It is a problem in getting foreign currency cheques encashed in Indian accounts. Big private banks like icici or hdfc banks can do this, but takes a long time

Affiliate marketing helps you earn a lot of money and you would need a bank account or membership with PayPal/ePassporte so that the affiliate program can pay you. If you are under-18, that may be a problem.

You can join any affiliate program. Take CrocMint for instance. All you have to do is click on the ‘Sign Up’ tab, fill the information and you are all set to start as an affiliate. I have provided the CrocMint link in the source below

I am sure you are treating this as a business and therefore I would suggest Your Own website
What I mean by that is that it is hosted by you that is important as you retain control of your assets and cannot be shut down for what ever reason. Now the website can be a free WordPress which is easy to upload on your host and very flexible to use as you progress in your AM business

That’s whats beautiful about affiliate marketing you can be anywhere in the world and be a affiliate marketer. So many products to choose from, finding products based in India probably won’t be a problem. Finding other individual that are affiliates in India is probably bigger than you think.

Here’s the deal. I’m flat broke. Completely!! How can I make some money offline?

I recently started contracting construction work. Not very easy making bids, paying for materials, waiting for payments, having to call contractors 10000 times for them to answer. Well mostly I have been paid. But here’s the deal. I keep going TOTALLY broke.

I don’t spend money EVER unless I have to. I am a pinny pinching fool. So budgeting is NOT an issue. For some other reason I always end up broke. Are there any OFFLINE ways to make extra money. Not babysitting or anything that takes start up capitol. I’m really BROKE. No scams, paid surveys, affiliate marketing scams PLEASE!!! You will be waisting your time. I need some REAL suggestions that REAL people have used in their own lives to make extra money in the REAL world.

So Im making a website, and Im hoping over time that I can get a decent amount of traffic everyday, and then get some ads, and links to other sites for some jangle (money). I know that the money is not going to be flying in, but I was just wondering how much traffic would be needed to make lets just say like 1,000 dollars a month or something similar, and what are some helpful hints to make more money?

This is a tricky questions as it does depend on a lot of factors. Here are some things you can do to increase your chance at success and get that jangle flowing…

1. Provide Value – Offer information on your site that people want to look at. Don’t just scatter a bunch of affiliate links.

2. Learn a little about SEO – Learn how keywords can increase your rankings in search engines and get you more organic traffic. Also learn about link building.

3. Learn about different affiliate tactics – Your question is broad and you will want to choose a tactic. Will you use Adsense? Will you use affiliate links? What affiliate programs will you use (there are many)

Http://www.clicknewz.com/ – This is a blog by a super affiliate. I like her blog because it is not too salesy (scammy) and she provides some good practical information.

Http://31dfchk-3hmvhy7mp9825nbv6a.hop.cl… – This is a salesy looking page, but Rosiland is another super affiliate that is highly recommended. Her program is first rate and you will find a lot of people suggest it as a great starting place to find information.

These are two of the most popular forums to find information on how to be a successful affiliate marketer. If you are going the cheap route, these forums have all the information that you need for free (although you will have to wade through a lot of crap). You might get frustrated searching for answers which is why a program like Rosilands will come in handy.

The simplest and cheapest way is to start a blog on something you are passionate about. Use all the free tools out there (blogger, wordpress, adsense, etc.) – Google has them all.

To get your feet wet online, this is the best way without investing any money – just your time and commitment. See if it works. You may not like it. Or you might just love it (especially if there is money coming in).

Also, get a good blogging guide. Rob Benwell’s ‘Blogging To The Bank 3′ is my recommendation.

After that, you can move on to affiliate products (linkshare, commission junction, clickbank) but you have to focus on a certain niche to be successful. Take your time to learn – there are many FREE resources out there. You don’t have to spend a dime to learn and profit online!

Has anyone made money with Anthony Morrison’s program/course? Is the information worth the cost?

I have seen many different programs to get started in affiliate marketing. Most of which, by using common sense, are scams. I know that much of the information can be found for free over the internet and through networking. Using Anthony Morrison’s program seems as though it could be helpful but I would like some feedback from people who have actually purchased and implemented his strategies and techniques.

Don’t waste your time. Not worth the trouble plus chances are you will get ripped off. If you want to make money on the internet check out affiliate marketing with an affiliate company. Those programs are all a scam anything to do with MLM or anything like that.
